Computer Corner --> Community Center

Sad news with a silver lining: The Capitol Hill Computer Corner, the space on the corner of 15th and D St SE, is no longer in business. Due to loss of funding, the non-profit organization that offered internet access and technology training at different levels to serve elementary-aged children, senior citizens, has been forced to close. BUT, in its place a new Capitol Hill Community Center has evolved. Stay tuned for more information regarding this, but plans for the Center sound promising including art classes, poetry readings, exercise classes, after-school tutoring and much more.

If anyone has more information regarding this, please contact lowercasehill@gmail.com

I live near the Computer Corner and I am sad to see them go. Plus, I was just about to walk my old iMac G4 over when I saw this posting. Any suggestions of DC non-profits looking for a used iMac? This model is one of the best every built.
