Portuguese water dogs are getting all the attention these days with President Obama's new first pooch, Bo, arriving at the White House this week. Hill residents are definitely dog fans as evidenced by the scads of dogs and their owners roaming through Lincoln Park on weekends, but do people really love Portuguese Water Dogs that much???
According to the Portuguese Water Dog Club of America, PWD's are hypoallergenic, rarely shed and are excellent with children. I also heard that they can balance the budget, turn water into wine and make pigs fly.
But really, what dog breed do you think is best for DC living?
